Reading Order

The Pretty Little Liars series includes 18 books, which can be hard to navigate. So, what’s the best way to read them? Here are, in my opinion, the best and most effective reading orders.

Option 1: Release Date Order
This is the most straightforward approach, where you read the books in the order they were published:

1. Pretty Little Liars

2. Flawless

3. Perfect

4. Unbelievable

5. Wicked

6. Killer

7. Heartless

8. Wanted

9. Twisted

10. Ruthless

11. Pretty Little Secrets

12. Stunning

13. Burned

14. Ali’s Pretty Little Lies

15. Crushed

16. Deadly

17. Toxic

18. Vicious

Option 2: Adjusted Order
Alternatively, you can read Pretty Little Secrets between Unbelievable and Wicked, as that’s when the story takes place in the timeline. However, you should still read Ali’s Pretty Little Lies between Burned and Crushed, as it introduces information and characters that are important for the books that follow. Under no circumstances should you start with Ali’s Pretty Little Lies, as it will spoil most of the series.
